Welcome to Eighth Grade
In eighth grade, students are encouraged to develop independence and organizational skills that will allow them to be successful high school students and adults in the future. They continue to grow in their knowledge of the world around them and their faith continues to develop as they learn more about their Savior’s love.
Mrs. Kris Pufahl

Mrs. Pufahl graduated from Martin Luther College in 2000. Her first assignment was to teach grades 2-5 at Mt. Olive Lutheran School in Las Vegas, NV. She married Pastor Gary Pufahl in 2001. She supported him in his ministry at St. Paul's First Lutheran Church in North Hollywood, CA for seven years and Christ Lutheran Church in Big Bend, WI for ten years. After raising her four children she returned to teaching at Christ Lutheran in Big Bend as a Kindergarten teacher. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family camping, hiking, kayaking or doing anything outdoors. She also enjoys reading and playing volleyball. She is thrilled to live in a location with warm temperatures and no snow!
